HEY!
My name is Adam Mrázek and I'm a freelance graphic designer from a small town in Slovakia. I've been doing graphic design for almost a decade now, but I've been doing it for a living for a little over 3 years. What is my story?

Ever since I was a little boy, I've been around computers and the digital realm and have been fascinated by it. Apart from that, my other big hobby was graffiti, which I encountered nonstop every day as a boy from the projects. I found it very interesting how a person could transform a standard font into something completely different and put it on the wall for people to walk past every day.
My first goal was to be a YouTuber. But as a YouTuber, I needed to make my channel look nice. That's when I first came across Photoshop. I had to create a banner for my channel and thumbnails for the videos. As soon as I opened Photoshop, I got slapped by the UI and I knew this wasn't going to be such an easy task. I started watching a lot of tutorials until I got to something that was looking nice for my eye and I was able to use it. I kept changing the visualizations on my YouTube channel more and more, until it grew into me discovering more about what photoshop can do, rather than dedicating time to my YouTube channel.

When my career as a YouTuber passed me by, I started picking a high school and switched between a bunch of them, but I never thought I would go into graphic design (I never went). I took a long break from graphic design during the early days of high school. Later on, I felt that I needed to start making something of myself to be able to make some money. Then I remembered that graphic design was a skill that I was very passionate about, interested in and enjoyed doing it. So I decided to dust off that hobby and try to make a living out of it. I started consuming more educational content and gradually learned to create designs I was happy with.

I also began to explore the beauty of Illustrator more intensely. Through my love of type through graffiti, I began to learn how to create my own typography and logos. Later on, I started getting questions from my surroundings like "Can you make me a poster/logo for my event?". And that's when I felt like I finally got a chance to show the world my work and make some money too.

As time went on, these "commissions" started pouring in more and more. During this journey I met a lot of cool people who opened a lot of ways for me. I also got the chance to work with my favourite music artists from Slovakia and I also had the chance to create various graphic visualizations for them as well.

Today I have done work from different spectrums such as restaurants, clothing brands, companies, events, music artist etc. And this is just the beginning for me.
